From Klagenfurt Airport (KLU):

Getting there. Warmbaderhof hotel provides an airport transfer service by request (surcharge). Trains run from the airport to Klagenfurt every hour. Journey time is 10 minutes and cost is 42 EUR. Buses depart every 30 minutes to Klagenfurt. Cost is 2.50 EUR and journey time is 15 minutes. From Klagenfurt, take the train to Villach. Klagenfurt is 35 minutes by train and between three and five trains run each day. Cost is 5.60 EUR for a single ticket. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Villach is easily explored on foot. A free city bus travels a circuit around the town every 20 minutes. Ferries cruise up and down the Drau and boats depart the dock from the main bridge. Taxis are readily available around the city.
