The Boat Hotel De Barge is a bright blue converted barge with a marine themed interior, located 500 meters from the historical center of old Bruges. The 20 cabins feature blue and white marine colors and dark wood furnishings. All have work desks with free wireless Internet access, cable television, radios and multi line phones.
Fresh seafood and international dishes are served in the nautical surroundings of The Captain's Table restaurant, which features dark wood paneling and light wood furniture. There is also the option of dining on a garden terrace during the summer months. Guests can relax in the lobby area, watching television or browsing the complimentary morning newspapers. Those guests arriving at the hotel by car benefit from access to complimentary secure parking facilities. For a tour of the cultural delights of the city's historic center, a horse drawn carriage provides a delightful alternative to walking. Carriages can be hired 700 meters from the hotel. The railway station can be found on the basement level, below the terminal building. Airport City Express trains to the city depart approximately every 10 30 minutes to Brussels' three main stations. Metered taxis are available outside the arrivals hall; licensed cabs have a yellow and blue emblem. De Lijn buses run also every 45 minutes to the city.
