Location. Hotel du Nord is a four floor hotel situated a hundred metres from Lake Annecy and the old town, with its colourful winding streets, cafes and restaurants. Geneva International Airport is 45 kilometres from the hotel, and takes around 45 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast in their rooms each morning. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can assist guests, and complimentary Internet is available. Free parking is on offer from around 6.30 PM to 9.30 AM. A lift connects the floors.
Guestrooms. Hotel du Nord offers 30 air conditioned guestrooms located over four floors. All have modern decor in fresh bright colours with patterned fabrics and include cable television and desks with direct dial phones.
Expert Tip. The Palais de l'Isle, 300 metres from the hotel, is one of the most photographed monuments in France. Built in 1132 in the centre the Thiou canal, the palace was used as a jail from the middle ages until 1865 and again in the Second World War, and is also known as the 'old prison'. Today it houses a popular local history museum and is open to the public.

Getting there. Geneva Airport railway station is 300 metres from the departures and arrivals floors; trains stop at Geneva Cornavin (city centre) and run every 20 minutes. From here trains connect to Annecy SNCF railway station, which is 100 metres from the hotel.
