The Mercure Hotel and Residenz Frankfurt Messe is a modern five storey hotel located 1.5 kilometres from central Frankfurt and the Convention Centre; the Opera House and Botanical Gardens are within three kilometres. Frankfurt International Airport is 15 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Driving Directions

Getting there.Frankfurt airport has two passenger railway facilities: The Regional Train Station and the Fernbahnof long distance train station. Take the S8 or S9 train in the direction of Hanau to the main train station Hauptbahnhof. From there take tram line 17 in the direction of Rebstockgalande and get out at Kuhwaldstrasse. The station is 30 metres from the hotel. Taxis are readily available outside both terminals, and should cost �25 to the hotel. Regular buses stop at the bus station in front of the Terminal One Arrivals hall on level one, and at the bus bay in front of the Arrivals/Departures halls on level two, Terminal Two. The public transport system is excellent and integrates the city's bus, tram, S Bahn and U Bahn lines. Hourly or daily tickets are available at almost any stop. Cycling is a good way of getting around as most streets have cycle lanes.
Driving directions. From Frankfurt Airport take the A5 and exit for Westkreuz (Messe). Join the A648 and exit at Bockenheim/Messe, then follow signs for the hotel.
