The modern, glass plated Maritim Airport Hotel is shaped like an aeroplane and situated 50 metres from Hanover Airport, in a position overlooking a lake. The 528 guestrooms have cream decor with dusky pink fabrics and light wood furnishings. All guestrooms have satellite television with pay movies, direct dial phones, minibars, radios, trouser presses, and fax and Internet connections. Bathrooms are complete with bathrobes, slippers, phones and hair dryers.
Guests can unwind in the Finnish sauna, steam room or Turkish baths. Fitness enthusiasts can do a few laps in the indoor pool or work out in the fully equipped fitness centre. Pampering massage treatments are available, and the hotel has a hair salon. Mediterranean and international dishes are on the menu at the traditional style Bistro Bottaccio; while hearty German and international buffets are served in the Rotisserie Restaurant. At the Night Flight Bar patrons can enjoy a buzzing happy hour, light snacks and live music in an informal cocktail bar. Alternatively, room service is available round the clock. The hotel has three large function rooms, and 21 smaller meeting rooms, and can host up to 1500 delegates. Corporate guests can book into the VIP fifth floor where they will have at their disposal an exclusive business lounge with its own bar, library and secretarial services. Nearby attractions include the Herrenhausen baroque gardens eight kilometres away, and the city centre 12 kilometres away. Hanover Airport is approximately 50 metres and a three minute drive from the hotel.

On the 20th of December 2007 and 8th of January 2008 the electricity will be switched off at the hotel between 1.30AM and 5.30AM. During this time only the emergency lights will be on.
