Location. Shangri la's Mactan Resort & Spa stands along 350 meters of white sand beach in Cebu, Philippines. This elegant resort offers views of the outlying islands that rise above the Visayan Sea.
Hotel Features. The resort's Cowrie Cove provides seaside vistas and serves a wide selection of seafood specialties. Tides features an open kitchen and international cuisine, while Tea of Spring prepares contemporary Chinese fare with vegetarian options. Menu selections also include Malaysian, Thai, Tandoori and Dim Sum options. Two grand ballrooms and function rooms accommodate events. High speed Internet access is available for a fee. Recreational amenities include tennis and a complete range of water sport activities. A putting green, two outdoor pools, a private beach cove and a marine sanctuary add to this property's recreational appeal. A fully equipped fitness center features spa tubs, saunas and beauty services. Chi, The Spa is designed with spacious relaxation areas, a private garden, a sunken tub and an herbal steam room. In addition to Eastern and Western massage techniques, signature treatments include Barako Coffee Bean Scrubs and Mountain Tsampa Rubs. Horizon Club rooms provide private check in and check out, lounge facilities, complimentary breakfasts, beverages and daily tropical fruit delivery. Expert Tip. Three days a week Buko Bar and Grill offers a cultural tour of the Philippines by serving local delicacies and offering songs and dances presented by Filipino performers.
