Situated in the city center of Fatima, Portugal, the pilgrimage village made famous after the reported appearance of the Virgin Mary to three children in 1917, Hotel Fatima lies 10 meters from the Sanctuary of Fatima, the town's most celebrated shrine built to honor the events of 1917. The Stations of the Cross are set up one kilometer from the hotel, and guests are five kilometers from the Monument of Valinhos, the site of Our Lady�s fourth apparition.
Dinosaur Park sits eight kilometers away, and Leiria Castle, which was built in 1324 by King Dinis as a fortress and summer palace, is located 22 kilometers away. The Batalha Monastery, the dramatic Gothic monument constructed over two centuries, can be found 16 kilometers away.
