The Villa Monte Resort is a country resort situated in the rural Algarve, eight kilometres from the fish markets of Olh�o, and 10 kilometres from the beach. The 49 air conditioned guestrooms have traditional Moorish style decor and furnishings and include satellite and CD players. Other modern amenities include minibars with complimentary bottled water, desks with Internet connections, direct dial phones, and bathrooms with bathrobes, slippers, and hair dryers.
Guests can chat over drinks in the bar or take a dip in one of the three swimming pools. In the Orangerie restaurant diners can choose from a menu of gourmet Mediterranean dishes created using organic produce grown within the hotel's estate. Locally caught fresh fish is also on the menu, all served in a Moorish style setting. The hotel offers a range of spa services including massages and beauty treatments. Energetic guests can take advantage of the fully equipped fitness centre. The hotel has a 3 hole pitch and putt course, a driving range, putting greens and a resident golf professional. There are also ten golf courses within a 30 minute drive. A free bus shuttle will take guests to the beach, 10 kilometres away. Guests can also visit Ria Formosa Natural Park 10 kilometres away, or the Roman ruins of Milreu, 15 kilometres away. Faro Airport is 25 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Taxis and buses depart from outside the terminal building. AEROBUS provides a shuttle service between the airport and city centre daily (except Tuesday) in high season.
Driving directions: From the airport, exit and drive towards the A22. Take the direction Spain/Tavira/Olhao. Take the A22 for 15 kilometres and then exit onto Olhao/Moncarapacho. 50 metres after the exit there is a roundabout. Proceed towards Moncarapacho. The resort is 800 metres after the roundabout on the left.
