Set on the banks of the Arade River in Portugal's Algarve, the Boca do Rio Resort is surrounded by greenery and is a five minute boat ride from Portimao. The hotel offers 120 air conditioned guestrooms, all of which have modern decor in light blue and beige with striped fabrics. Guestrooms open on to balconies and include minibars, satellite television, direct dial telephones, Internet connections, safes, and bathrooms with hair dryers and designer toiletries.
Guests can head for the adjoining health club with its indoor pool, a sauna and steam room, jetted tub, gym and massage treatments. There is also an outdoor pool and sun terrace. There is a lawn tennis court, and four golf clubs can be found within six kilometres. The hotel's catamaran water taxi can take guests to nearby Portimao and the local beaches. Silves, with its castle and cathedral, is six kilometres away and the popular resort of Lagos is 18 kilometres from the hotel. Faro International Airport is 60 kilometres from the hotel with an approximate driving time to Boca do Rio Resort of 40 minutes.
