The 18th century restored manor house Estalagem Do Vale has spectacular views of the valley of Sao Vicente, located 500 metres from the Grutas de Sao Vicente Caves. The 41 guestrooms have a traditional decor with patterned fabrics, wooden floors and light wood furnishings. Guests can take a taxi or take public transport to the hotel. The hotel can arrange transport for a surcharge.
From the airport take the motorway from the airport in the direction of Funchal. From Funchal, join the Cota 200 (Expressway) in the direction of Funchal Ribeira Brava. On arriving in Ribeira Brava, take the road to Serra d'�gua. From here take the North Tunnel, which links Serra d'�gua to S�o Vicente. After exiting the tunnel drive straight ahead for about two kilometres until a roundabout. Here take the road ER104 (Estrada Regional 104) until the Ginjas sign. Turn left here and then right. Follow this narrow road until you come to the hotel on the right.
