Location. The Pousada de Tavira hotel is housed in a former convent featuring a 16th century Renaissance cloister and a 17th century Baroque fa�ade, and is located in the centre of the attractive seaside town of Tavira. Tavira railway station is 500 metres from the hotel. Faro Airport is 30 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
Hotel Features. The Pousada de Tavira features an outdoor swimming pool, alongside a separate children's pool. A continental buffet breakfast is served each morning and Internet access is available in the air conditioned public areas (surcharge). Other amenities include a games room, laundry facilities, dry cleaning services and around the clock room service. Motorists will find complimentary secure parking facilities on site.
Restaurant Mouraria serves regional fish and meat specialities in a Moorish style setting, while the Patio Mouro bar offers a light menu and a wide range of drinks, and is decorated with Islamic artefacts recovered during the hotel site's renovation.
